Benefits of coffee for the heart

Research has shown benefits of coffee for the heart

Regular consumption of 0.5-3 cups of coffee a day reduces the risk of stroke among people without heart disease, CNN reports, citing a study presented at the annual meeting of the European Society of Cardiology.

Scientists analyzed the coffee consumption of more than 468,000 Britons, as well as information about their health.

After freezing in Brazil, the price of coffee on the New York Stock Exchange approached the highest in the last seven years. Brazil, the largest exporter of coffee in the world, is facing natural disasters for the second year in a row. If in 2021 coffee plantations suffered from frosts, then in 2020 they experienced the largest drought in 100 years.

It is not yet clear how hard the frost has hit the coffee plantations. Farmers may have to cut trees heavily, which will lead to a drop in production and, as a result, further increase in the price of the product. In any case, low temperatures will provoke a decrease in yield in the next 3-4 years.
